Born on 5th May 1933 in Nallepilly to Thailambal and V.A.Sivaramakrishnan, V.S.Kalyanraman, fondly known as VSK / Veeyeskay became one of the most sought after scholar of his times. With a determination that cannot be replicated by any common individual, his traits were always admired by all.
Many benefited from his constant advice and guidance, while being humble about his knowledge, he demonstrated what a walking encyclopedia could be. With an everlasting hunger for knowledge, he flooded his mind with knowledge all his life. An active life of 84 years was filled with writing, scholarly debates and interactions with some of the finest minds of his time.
He stood as an inspiration to all of us and taught us passion, dedication and determination in every step that he took ahead. A self made man, he built an empire of admirers that today will vouch for his qualities that demonstrated a perfect ten.
Our tribute to him cant be any better than following what he taught us without saying a word many a times. For those who have known him, his grace taught a handful, his words a few hundreds and his oration a life time of skills and learning.
What cannot be cured has to be endured! VSK helped many endure a pain effortlessly, helping us introspect, correct course and find solutions.
VSK helped many understand that prayer is a wonderful tool to start believing in yourself. His prayers to help those in distress not only saw them walk away from the trouble, but gave them confidence to counter life.
VSK brought cheer to many lives. His voice gave an adrenaline rush to motivate those in troubled times. His guidance was driven by cheer that the mind could see from within. Cheer brings positivity and he firmly believed in it and taught us all to.
VSK never told us that there is a magic wand. He taught us to lead our lives with determination. He helped us learn the art of determination by setting an example himself. Success happens only when there is a determination to chase failures.
VSK lived a simple life. He never went after wealth, fame or luxuries. They all came to him. The more simple that we keep our needs and wants, the more easier our lives are. He always said that faith in oneself and a simple approach to life can take you to heights and this is the ultimate truth.
